Hypnosis Facts:
Clinical hypnosis has been recognized by medical and dental organizations since the 1950's and is often implemented by the military, athletes, celebrities and many of the most successful entrepreneurs & CEOs on the planet! · Hypnosis is a natural experience that happens to most of us each day when we become absorbed in doing something like driving, working, reading or watching TV. · All your senses are awake and alert while you are in a hypnotic state. · You are in control at all times while in hypnosis. · You only say and do in hypnosis what you would normally say and do in a fully conscious state. · You can return to full consciousness any time you either want to or feel the need to. · You cannot be made to enter hypnosis against your will.  · The subconscious mind makes up about 90% of your total mind power and contains a “mental movie” of everything that has happened in your life. · As you enter into hypnosis, you bypass the conscious mind and can then access information in the subconscious mind. · The use of hypnosis gives you the opportunity to make changes that last. · Hypnosis was approved for use by the American Medical Association in 1958. · Hypnosis entails the use of trance and suggestion to adjust habits of thought, feeling and behavior. · Hypnotists use trance and suggestions to help normal people cope with everyday problems of living, such as issues related to jobs, relationships, hobbies and recreational activities. · Hypnosis can also aid in general self-improvement through strategies such as stress management. · Hypnosis works in complementary ways with physicians and other health care providers to help optimize the care patients receive. · Hypnotic results can be restorative, rehabilitative, curative and, seemingly, miraculous—all by harnessing the untapped power of the subconscious mind.
Whether   they   realize   it   or   not,   people   willingly   enter   into   hypnosis   all   the   time.   For   example,   in   order   to   enjoy   a movie   you   must   allow   your   critical   faculty   to   be   bypassed   (in   this   case   we   call   it   “suspension   of   disbelief”).   In   such   a situation   you   welcome   the   suspension   of   your   critical   faculty   in   order   to   enjoy   the   movie.   It’s   only   then   that   you   can be affected emotionally and intellectually by the movie. A good movie will often leave a lasting impact. Hypnosis   is   a   natural   state   of   mind   that   most   of   us   drift   in   and   out   of   every   day   without   even   being   aware   of   it. Daydreaming,   watching   TV,   gazing   into   the   fireplace,   or   missing   your   exit   on   the   freeway   because   you   are   "lost   in thought"   are   all   examples   of   normal,   everyday   hypnotic   states.   Like   the   need   for   sleep,   hypnotic   rest   seems   to serve   an   essential   role   in   maintaining   our   physical   and   psychological   well-being.   In   a   state   of   hypnosis   we   can access   the   sub-conscious   to   re-program   the   mind   to   achieve   your   goals.   Hypnosis   has   two   essential   characteristics: deep   relaxation   and   focused   attention.   To   make   use   of   this   state,   a   hypnotist   uses   suggestions.   You   are   hundreds of   times   more   likely   to   accept   suggestions   given   when   you   are   in   hypnotic   rest.   Your   critical   or   worrying   mind   is able   to   get   out   of   the   way   so   your   path   to   the   right   action   is   clean   and   clear.   You   will   only   accept   the   suggestions that   are   meaningful   to   you.   You   wouldn’t   say   or   do   things   that   you   would   not   normally   say   or   do.   You   will   never   do anything against your will.  You are relaxed, comfortable and in complete control.
